Spring is squarely upon us and depending on where you are in our country, we are experiencing the bounty of this lovely season. We heralded March with SPUC’s 11th Annual Conference at Children’s Mercy Research Institute in Kansas City, Missouri. The program content was varied, and rich. The poster submissions were of superior quality, and more posters were presented than in years past. There was time to socialize, and time to brainstorm with likeminded Urgent Care physicians and providers. In all these ways, the annual conference checked all boxes. Many thanks to SPUC’s Education Committee for creating this content and to Dr. Tiffany Addington, for bringing this to her home institution.
Spring also means time for some cleaning up. SPUC’s website has been updated with new content and design. If you would like to lend your talent to this activity, please reach out to me, or to any of the Board members – we make this organization work for us, TOGETHER.
We are over 570 members strong, we have four new Board members, and an engaged, energetic and active Board. We continue to build on being a strong, credible society representing Pediatric Urgent Care around the country. Talk to your colleagues, encourage their participation and membership. We only get stronger as we grow.
