Happy Spring!

SPUC President

Happy Spring to everyone.

Thank you to all who joined us for the exceptional SPUC 12th Annual Conference at Seattle Children’s Research Institute in Seattle, Washington. The program had nearly 150 attendees, which is the largest attendance since returning to the in-person meeting. The program content was diverse and valuable. The poster submission overall numbers continue to grow and their quality is outstanding. In all these ways, the annual conference was a remarkable success. Many thanks to SPUC’s Education Committee for creating this content and to Dr. Deirdre Stewart, for leading the committee in the program development.

As spring continues, please remember SPUC continues to look for membership involvement on the committees and on the Board of Directors.  Please do not hesitate to contact myself or any SPUC Board members if you have interest in becoming more involved.

The SPUC 13th Annual Conference will be hosted by Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH on March 10-12th. Please save the dates and contact any of the education committee members if you have topics or speakers you think would add to the depth of the conference. SPUC as a society continues to grow in membership and is a source of true north for Pediatric Urgent Care in the nation. Keep up all the great work and share with colleagues about SPUC.  Have a wonderful summer.
