By Natan Cramer MD MS

Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is excited to highlight an inaugural one-year Pediatric Acute Care Fellowship starting in July of 2024. We seek to mentor a future leader in the developing field of pediatric acute/urgent care. The Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh is ranked consistently by U.S. News & World Report as a top ten Children’s Hospital. The institution offers a wide breadth of clinical and procedural experience for medical trainees. Our initial fellow will become proficient in efficient and compassionate care, with a focus on procedural competency, POCUS, and telemedicine relevant to acute care.

The training program focuses on six areas including:

  1. Clinical Care and Patient Communication,
  2. Education,
  3. Career Development and Leadership,
  4. Research and Mentorship,
  5. Equitable Care Training and Advocacy and
  6. Safety/Quality Improvement.
